Through partnership with Ukrainian contacts and organizations, alongside a team of others who do professional trauma counseling, I’m thankful to have spent some time this week with Ukrainian clinicians overseas (virtually).

It was easy to feel the heartbreak and heavy weariness so many are facing in Ukraine.

Even so, it was also easy to see that amidst internal and external wars and conflicts, profound resiliency and extremely costly yet meaningful work is being done all around.

This can move all of us to action and intentionality.

The waves of adventure and genuine, life-giving kinds of existence is incredibly costly for many…so it seems better to lock arms with others and swim those costly waves of worthwhile living, than to stand around and be knocked down.

Looking forward to seeing these individuals again in November.
